Exciting News! I Started a New Job Today!

I’ve been teasing for the last month that I would have some exciting news to share very soon. Well, the day is here that I can finally share that good news and celebrate with all my friends and family.
Those of you who know me well enough know I am a freelance writer. I’ve been writing for a variety of blogs for almost a year now through Tsavo and Ova.st Media. If you’ve been following my twitter and facebook streams regularly lately, you probably noticed I’ve been sharing a lot of newsy articles from KidGalore.com.
I took over the news/trends writing position on KidGalore a couple weeks ago, a brand new site in the Ova.st Media group to prepare for an even bigger role. As of today, I am the new KidGalore editor!
As a mom, this is such an exciting transition for me. There were a lot of people who didn’t think I would actually be able to get work in my field after I graduated from college, but I have been freelancing as a researcher and a writer since 2006. This latest transition is a great opportunity and I’m very excited to be able to share the news with you all.
I hope you’ll tune in on KidGalore, especially if you have kids and family. There are some amazing writers on the site and a lot of insightful content. You can subscribe to the KidGalore RSS feed, follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and be sure to tell your friends and family with little ones to check us out too.
There will be a lot of great articles and content, and I’m looking forward to some really exciting giveaways too. Thanks to everyone for all their support! I’m glad I could finally share this news with you. I’ve been bubbling with excitement for so long.
