Thursday is for “Today Sucks!”

Today has been a rather cruddy day. So cruddy, I don’t even feel like going into it in any detail. I just want to go to bed and turn off the alarm. Sleep late tomorrow and wake up with a new perspective.
I think I will.
Before I do, I want you to tell me your day was good. Tell me something wonderful that happened to you today. Even if it was just that you got three extra fries in your McDonald’s Extra Value Meal, or you found an unexpected pickle in a jar at the back of the fridge.
Your happy makes me happy. So get to the happymaking, please.

We’re all in this together…….
uuummm….my day was great because my kids were actually good.
My son was adorable in the pool (picture on my FB). My oldest son (9 years) found an iPod Shuffle today and thinks it is the best thing in the world..lol…and tomorrow (hopefully) I find out if I get a new cheer/dance team to coach this coming school year! 
Everything happens for a reason…..things will get better. 
Do not despair! If things are not going well, they WILL change. It’s inevitable! Chaos is the only constant.
Today was a good day for me because I actually managed to post some media and I got the chance to talk to a lovely girl for quite a while. I need more days like this.

I wrote a bunch, got some short story stuff accomplished, wrote a blog piece and it wasnt too bad for me. My buddies had a bad day, so it wasnt all good, by any means. I dont think anyone gave up though, so that is super good.

Yesterday started out sucky for me too. And then I pulled on my big girl panties and decided it wasn’t going to suck and I was going to take care of all the crap that others couldn’t handle, and I did, which made me feel pretty good.

Ummm…. I’m sick, which is sucky, but I laid in bed all day, and finished a book that was pretty good up until the end, and then it made me really mad and I wished you had read it so we could discuss it.
So you should let me send you this book so you can read it so we can discuss it and then everything will be awesome!

Yesterday I got to be a complete nerd with my mom at w00tstock in San Diego. We laughed so hard we cried. Wil Wheaton, Adam Savage, Paul and Storm, and all their guests were very funny in an utterly geeky way. It was pretty fantastic.
