Mid-week True Blood Ramblings…

If you haven’t watched the latest episode of True Blood yet, I would advise you to stop right now because I’m gonna talk about it. And there’s nothing you can do about it.

I swear, I’ve gotten to the point right now where as soon as I finish watching an episode, I’m itching under the skin for the next one. James pointed out tonight there were only six more episodes left of this season, and I almost started to cry. What the hell am I going to do on Sunday nights for the rest of the year?

So, I have to say I was a little surprised when Tara bashed in Franklin’s brains while he was sleeping. I’m going to chalk it up to the fact that he was sleeping and she drank his blood, but in all seriousness, I think he went a little too quickly. Squeenager, who’s read the books, said it was weird because that’s not how it happened. Of course not, because there is no Tara in the books. I kept waiting for her to wake up from some dream and find herself foiled before she could even try to escape.

All in all, I thought she got away a little too easily.

And Eric… oh Eric. I love the simmering musings you’ve got going on behind the scenes, but I’m scared for you. The King of Mississippi doesn’t help anyone but himself, and even though you’ve got a plan (I know you do,) I am worried you’re not going to see come into fruition. I’m also worried about Pam.

I’d like to see the Magister get his. I can’t stand him. He’s a sanctimonious prick, and I’d love to see someone bash in his skull. Maybe now that Tara is free… hmmmmmm.

There’s been a lot of chatter around the house about Sookie and her special, magic powers. What is she? Why was Bill keeping a file on her? Will Tara bash in Lorena’s skull, and I can I take pictures? Obviously Bill’s gonna live through this little ordeal. Sookie to the rescue, whatever.

And what about Jessica and Hoyt? Is it really over? I don’t want it to be over. I do love how Jessica’s character is evolving this season. She’s my favorite.

Jesus and Lafayette… I was really starting to think there was something wrong with Jesus, and maybe there still is. Or maybe he’s some kind of savior looking out for Lafayette. Too late now though. Stupid Lafayette with his drug dealing ways. I love Lafayette. :( I just want him to be happy.

Hate Sam’s family, especially his stupid Mama.

Will Arlene’s baby be some weird, evil demon monster spawn of Rene? Probly.

Is it Sunday yet? Is it? Is it? *sigh* I need help and I don’t care what anyone says. True Blood FTW!

  1. Okay, so you have made me sad by telling me I only have 6 episodes left. What’s ya go and do that for?

I am sad to see Franklin gone so soon & so easily. I liked him and his psychopathic ways. Hoping Jesus comes back and is normal…well as normal as Bon Temps gets. Jessica is awesome and I agree…hope they aren’t done with she and Hoyt!

Okay, first, you are absolutely right that Franklin went too quickly. Even considering that it was daylight out. You notice that she had the obvious option of a battle ax or the mace? My bet is that he takes an aspirin and goes after her in the evening.

I think Erik & Pam will be fine. Pam just became a regular character this season. It’s a little odd, since we seem to be seeing much less of her, but apparently she’s here to stay. At least for this season. I think Erik will end up having his revenge on the King. Maybe he’ll end up as King himself, which seems to be his rightful inheritance.

The whole thing about Sookie’s special powers & Bill “living” is really intriguing. It almost looks like Sookie’s blood is going to turn out to be a vampire antidote (in large enough doses).

I love Jessica, too, and I also want her to get back together with Hoyt & “live” happily to whenever after. I noticed, though, that the King of Pricks is going to make Bill choose between Sookie & Jessica. I’m very worried about that. I like Jessica even more than Pam at this point.

I’m very sure that Lafayette & Jesus aren’t done, yet. I think this is just their first big fight. I don’t know what’s going to come out about Jesus (you know something is), but I did notice he made some very strong references to the Santeria religion. He may end up being some kind of hoodoo priest.

I hope Sam ends up shooting his damn white trash parents (especially Joe Lee), and saving his brother.

I’m wondering the same thing about Arlene’s baby! You know it can’t just be normal. Maybe it will turn out to be a minotaur.
