<itunes:summary>Due to traveling from Canada to PA, there was no episode of Podcaturday last week, but you already knew that. How do I know? Because the weekly dose of insanity is impossible to live without, and you had a nervous breakdown. I talked to your shrink... so much for doctor/patient confidentiality. You should sue. Seriously.

This week, we re-explore the five pictures dealio, endeavor into facebook spamitation, talk about why Google irks me, I get turned into a sour patch kid, I think we found an EVP while editing, and much, much more.

Note, I do not talk about the EVP on Podcaturday. In fact, I actually deleted it, but will upload it as a separate file for your amusement or derision or whatever.

<itunes:summary>Supposedly, I hexed Acadia on Friday night. My incredibly powerful hex forced him to wake up vomiting at 4 a.m. so he could vomit. The truth is, if I had really hexed him, I would have made him win the lottery so he could buy me an iPad, not vomit. *rolls eyes at Acadia* According to his theory, my hex-power was designed to make him die during Podcaturday so we could boost our ratings and maybe pull in a sponsor. The good news: he didn't die. The bad news... we don't have a sponsor.

We talk about some interesting things this week. Believe it or not, we talked very little about television. I didn't even get to talk about True Blood this week, and I totally wanted to. BOO HOO. We have a special question just for you all about an amazing camera with time travel capabilities, so be sure to pay attention for that and then call us on the Podcaturday hotline (206-888-1710) or leave your thoughts here in the comments.

There's no giveaway this week, but we do finally announce the winner of the big box set giveaway from two weeks ago. What was it, you ask? You have to listen to find out... Who won? You gotta listen for that too. I know, I'm a jerk, but I will leave a hint somewhere in the post. So if you won, you may already know it was you.

The link factory:

Acadia: I hex him because I can
James: I sex him because I can
Paul E. Cooley: I vex him because I can (not really, it just rhymes, sheesh)
Nikki: I respects her because I can

<itunes:summary>After the week James and I had, I was so looking forward to Podcaturday, and you can tell because it's almost 90 minutes long. Apparently, we had a ton to talk about, which you will hear as you tune in... or out...or whatever you do while listening to Podcaturday.

We talked about the patent pending process, our current job situation, True Blood, Haven, cheerleading, this really cool paranormal guy from a few episodes back and whether or not the body has a soul.

This week's giveaway winner is Headshot Heather, who rules school. So Heather, you probably already have a copy of the original Nightmare on Elm Street on DVD, but we're going to draw pictures on this one and send it to you anyway. :) YAY! The Next Podcaturday giveway is a huge one, box settish, but we're not telling you what it is. You gotta play to win. Leave us a voicemail message about whatever you want: 206-888-1710, or leave a comment on the podcaturday post at any of our sites.

Linkage?

Acadia: Was not a cheerleader, but he was Miss Teen USA in 1943. He lost his crown when they found out he was not really a woman, but no one ever talked about it because it was such an embarrassment to the system.

James: Was not a Viking, but he was a train conductor once. I swear.

Kate Sherrod: Was Christopher Marlowe and William Shakerpeare who ARE the same person in my imagination

Coffin Nail Neil: Was an undertaker during the Civil War

Headshot Heather: Went to prison during the late 1800s for cutting the tag off a mattress (she was framed)

Morgan Elektra: In another life, we were sisters who stood on the coastline and watched the Viking ships roll in to destroy our village.

Nicole Ireland: Was bitten by a snake during the potato famine, but she lived to tell about it. She emigrated to the land of opportunity and opened up a pub that the Ghost Hunters investigated like 3 weeks ago. I saw her ghost sitting at the piano bar. She was mocking Steve from behind. HAHA!

And the best video ever?

<itunes:summary>So, as much as we love zombies, it's hard to believe we've NEVER talked about them on Podcaturday... insanely hard to believe. So we remedied that little misdemeanor on today's episode. We also revealed our first big DVD Giveaway winner, but to find out who it was, you gotta listen.

And speaking of DVDs... we're giving away another DVD this weekend, and this one coincides with the Podcaturday discussion: ZOMBIE STRIPPERS! One of the best b-grade zombie flicks in the universe because it has my favorite porn star (no, it's not Nicole Ireland,) Jenna Jameson in it. It's also got Robert Englund and one of the most disgusting zombie battling tactics involving an 8 ball I've ever seen. You know what you gotta do to win: comment on any one of our three posts about this week's Podcaturday, or call the hotline at 206-888-1710.

Now, for the linkage:

Acadia chops off zombie hands with the rim of his garbage can
James writes about zombies and has contests where you can win Kindles and books
Nicole is not a zombie stripper, but she plays one on TV
Dr. Nob Writes erotica, but not about zombies
Cracked.com article about the zombie apocalypse
@CoffinNailNeil called the podcaturday hotline because he RULES
Patrick would turn the Three Stooges into zombies if he could
Drew Beatty plucked out his eyes like a zombie and let me use them to proofread From the Dark Side: A Charity Anthology

And I would like to wish a special happy birthday to my dead hero: Nikola Tesla. Cos he's my hero, and it's his birthday. w00t!

Now... a video of why you shouldn't play World of Warcraft

<itunes:summary>Podcaturday rhymes with... um... Orange? Yeah, that's it. Orange. It's been a busy week for me, so I've been looking forward to unwinding all week with my favorite co-hosts and shooting the breeze. As always, Podcaturday is a bit of a free for all, like we don't plan this stuff. It just comes out, and I like that system because if we planned it too meticulously, I think Podcaturday would suck.

This week, James and I are starting something new: The Podcaturday DVD of the Week giveaway. Since we're moving in together once we have our visa that says, "yes, you are allowed to legally love each other and live in the same home..." we are combining our DVD collections. Between the two of us, we have a boatload of double DVDs... So every week, we're going to give away one of our doubles to one lucky listener. It'll be ongoing until we run out of DVDs, and the DVD types will vary. You gotta listen to find out how to win and what DVD we're giving away this weekend.

We also got a boatload of hotline calls this week, which is AWESOME! You can get in on the Litterbox Call-in action, call 206-888-1710. We'll answer your questions, address your thoughts, and possibly even turn you into a weapon of some sort...

And now... the weekend Podcaturday linkage contrived by the notion that I am Mulder and I want to believe:

	Acadia is Scully

	James is The Smoking Man

Destination Truth which better not turn out to be fake like Ghost Hunters

David Sobkowiak who is a medieval Malaysian weapon of some sort which could be paranormal, I'm not sure...

Nicole is a birthday having succubus that Acadia sings Prince songs to

Paranormal Network posts about interesting things that ARE like X-files

Redhead Ranting posts about interesting things that are NOT like X-files

Mel Gibson, I'm Disappointed in You

Stay tuned at the end of the podcast for a promo for The Ballad of Iron Percy, narrated by the lovely Veronica Guigere.

And now, a video for your July 4th celebration...

<itunes:summary>We're back with another edition of PODCATURDAY, which rocks and rolls... all day long... sweet Susie. This week's episode is brimming to the rim with awesome. We talk about all kinds of stuff, like Shutter Island (spoilers if you haven't seen it yet, so fast forward through that part if you must,) the Fresh Prince, Santa Claus, aliens and the Fourth of July and time travel.

We've also got two calls from the Podcaturday Hotline to share with you this week... one person who called because they wanted to and another who called because we MADE her. If you have something you'd like to say to us about this week's Podcaturday, or you've got a topic you'd like us to cover on a future episode of Podcaturday, call the litter box hotline at 206-888-1710. Leave a message and we'll play your call on the next episode.

I love this week's Podcaturday... I love every Podcaturday, really... and I hope you do too. We have so much fun doing this and have gotten a great response from everyone out there enjoying our nonsensical mayhem. Thank you for listening to us be ourselves.

As always, Podcaturday comes with tons of linkage, so make sure you take some time to jump all over this list and visit every single one of these awesome links. Some of them are relevant, and others maybe not so much, but they're all good. So go, go, go, then pop back here and check out the video below because videos are goooood.

Acadia: He can't go back in time because he has a bionic spine

James: Sleeps with a time traveler

Laura Frechette: Her name is now a futuristic weapon made from bread

Nobilis Reed: He's the Summer King of the Podcaturday Hotline

John Titor : Came from the future, or so he says...
Jeremy C. Shipp: He's so bizarro, he's ahead of his time

<itunes:summary>I know, I know. If I hate it so much, why do I keep reading it? Call it morbid curiosity and a sense of idiocy that compels me to torture myself and complain about it. I'm a whiny masochist.

This week, Podcaturday is back in full swing with some excellent discussion on books, book deals, Stephen King and Charlaine Harris being a cruddy writer with a good idea someone else was better at expanding on. Because hate me if you will, but I LOVE True Blood, and I don't care what anyone says 'cos I can't stomach these terrible books. Call us on the Litter Box hotline to tell me how much of a jerky hypocrite I am, and all the different ways you'd like to see me hang for my blasphemy against Charlaine Harris. 206-888-1710

There was some Ouija board talk, and a big scolding from Acadia about how I shouldn't poke dead people with sticks. :(

Then we went on to talk about the World Cup while James' roommate, Nikki, and her friend chatter on in the background and I don't even know what they're saying.

Most importantly, even more important than my growing anger with The Southern Vampire Mysteries, is Acadia's very astute tips on how to hold an intelligent conversation. He's an expert. Listen to him.

As always, Podcaturday comes with yummy delicious linkage...

Acadia Einstein: A close, personal friend of Sookie
James Melzer: Could totally kick Vampire Bill's Ass
My BFF: is cooler than Tara
Kody Boye: He doesn't deal V, but he's playing the role of Lafayette
I was gonna link to your mom this week, but she begged me not to expose her.

And instead of Annoying Orange, here's Acadia's fancy pants Picture Perfect Power Point... man, that's a lot of pees.

<itunes:summary>This week of Podcaturdays's best feature is the CGI birds straight from our backyard. They rock and roll... all night long... sweet Suzie. We tried to say they were from James Cameron, but then he called us assholes for fucking with him and dumped a truckload of money on James' head. Sweet! Ca$h!

But anyway, it's the summer zen PODCATURDAY! Grab your fruity, girly umbrella drink and chill with us.

You may or may not know this, but James and I are leaving for Canada today for a weekish-long visit in Toronto. I have so much crap to do today, it's not even funny, so I figured why not add more things to my day by doing Podcaturday first thing, then hopping back on Skype at 1:30 to do an interview with the fabulous Morgan Elektra for the upcoming TCA Podcast.

This week we finally have some hotline calls for you straight from the Podcaturday Litter Box line. Thanks to Sparkle the Cat and Nobilis Reed for letting us know what they think of the show. You too can let us know what you think, whether you love or hate us... call us and tell us. You can even tell us what you'd like to hear us babble on about, and we may even listen. CALL US! 206-888-1710.

We are also going to try to do some recording from the road while we're traveling, and will include them in next week's Podcaturday just for you.

I do apologize for the near-serious tone of the episode. We've got a lot going on, so we just wanted a quick check in for the weekend before we take off n. There is some funny, and of course some chatter about 3D TV and the upcoming Skype television models that will hit the market sometime next year. Next week we'll be back in rare form from Toronto, where I hope to gush about the first episode of True Blood season three, among other things. The thing is, there is never a Podcaturday plan, so making one now would just be bad.

And now, for the summer fun linkage and a Time Traveling Orange.

Acadia: Beach Blanket Bingo
James: Summer and Smoke
Nicole: 500 Days of Summer
Patrick: Summer School
Feeding the Vampire Craze with a little True Blood: How I Spent My Summer
Babyvamp Jessica: She Knows What You Did Last Summer
Nobilis Reed: Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Sparkle the Cat: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

After you visit all those wonderful sites mentioned above, don't forget to come back here posthaste and head 'Back to the Fruiture' with the Annoying Orange. Cos I love that Orange, even though I didn't win his contest. *tear*

<itunes:summary>The Dark Journeys Blog Tour has been going strong for the last three weeks, with me popping up on blogs and in podcast feeds all over the Internet. It's been an awesome journey, and I have had more fun than one girl should have hopping from website to website. So far, everyone who's taken time out of their busy life and schedule to interview me, has provided me with a wide variety of unique and interesting questions. Answering them all made me learn a lot about myself.

This week, I make two audio interview stops. First up, I sat down with Scott Roche, fellow author, podcaster and co-founder of Flying Island Press, to talk about my writing, my thoughts on community and the value of critique within the podcast community.

Thank you, Scott, for having me on your site, and for taking time to talk with me. You can check out the original interview on Scott's site, or check it out right here. Either way, please take a moment to pop in and visit Scott's personal site, and the site for Flying Island Press.

Later this week, I will be sitting down with the illustrious Vange and Acadia over on Superficial Gallery. More to come on that. In the meantime, make sure you visit all the other blog tour stops. Some of them are even giving away pretty cool freebies, but I'm not gonna tell you which ones, so make sure you visit them all.

<itunes:summary>I swear, Saturday has become the most anticipated day of my week. Not only is it always Shaturday on Real TV Addict, but it's freakin' Podcaturday. PODCATURDAY. I am doing everything I can this episode to not sound drunk, but I can't make any promises, especially since I downed a fifth of Jack Daniels before we sat down at the Podcaturday round tabley. Nah, I'm just messin' witchya. Acadia was drunk though, the lush.

We talked about a lot of crazy stuff this week, like some kind of TV chef rating system, Judd Nelson being a douchebag, The TV Critics Association, True Blood and much, much more. As always, we take ourselves far too seriously for our own good, so kick back for Podcaturday and bring some food, cos I'm hungry now, yo! BTW, there's a bit of an echo in this episode. It's because we recorded it at the bottom of the Grand Canyon... for realz.

As always, Podcaturday comes chock full of linkety goodness... go forth, and click it while I eat these nummy delicious pretzel m&ms!

Acadia: Bionic Frankenstein
James: Genetic Zombie Clone
Gordon Ramsay: Cyberfuckingnetic Chef
Stephen Geoffreys a.k.a. Evil Ed: Vampire Pornbot
Anthony Michael Hall: Psychic Supernerd
Drew Beatty: Electronic Canadian Werewolf
Nicole Ireland: Interweb Spider from Mars
Mary Rajotte: Interviewing Horror Machine
True Blood Extravaganza
The Best Emilio Estevez Movie EVER!

And try as I might, for Acadia, I could not find a "Judd Nelson is a douchebag site." My apologies.

We have a hotline now... and if you call in and leave us a message about whatever, we'll include it in the next episode of Podcaturday. CALL US! 206-888-1710.

Don't forget to be annoyed by that Orange that freaks Vange out, and keep your fingers crossed that I at least won a freakin' T-shirt in that Annoying Orange photo contest. I just want a T-shirt man. A T-SHIRT!

<itunes:summary>It's podcaturday again, can you believe it. It seems like just yesterday was Friday. Oh... wait, it was. This week on Podcaturday, we have a special guest, Michael Arcand sit in with us while we talk about the Lost ending, Janet and Michael Jackson being the same person, Gary Coleman dying, and a bunch of UFO and alien abduction stuff.

We had some crazy stuff going on this weekend while recording, including the entire show with me sounding like a drunk having a stroke. Not sure what the flip is up with that, but it's pretty funny, so have a good laugh at my expense. I swear to GODs... I was NOT drinking and I am not secretly David at the Dentist. Christian Bale is NOT done with me professionally.

Lots of cool stuff after the jump, so click it!

Linkage is a Podcaturday necessity because there's a lot of weird and amazing stuff on the 'net. Of course, I like to link to some of the stuff we talk about, so if you heard something on Podcaturday and you want to know more, check out the linkage.

Superficial Gallery is the best place on the net to find the hilarious, obscure and of course, Acadia and Vange live there, and I heart them.
James Melzer, who is not only the love of my life, but also leaves his cereal bowl on my desk and says, "You need to clean off your desk, baby." That's love, yo! That's LOVE!

Michael and Janet Jackson are the SAME PERSON! This is freakishly bizarre.

Midnight Corey... formerly of the Midnight Podcast, Corey is podcasting again and he's not only a wealth of information, but he's also a great guy. You can hear Corey's 'Twisting the Blade' every month on UNLEASHED, but why not listen to him talk for like an hour about all kinds of other stuff... HERE.
Also, check out the latest interviews on my Dark Journeys Blog Tour... this week, I hung out with Patrick Pillars at Paddy's Wanderings and the infamous Drew Beatty.

Let us know what you think of Podcaturday and the pants I was wearing while we recorded by calling the Podcaturday Hotline: 206-888-1710. If you're crazy enough, you may find your message on a future episode of the show. So get down get down get down and call us up. We wanna hear from you.

Don't forget to check out the latest Annoying Orange, cos it rules.

<itunes:summary>Welcome back to Podcaturday guys! The weekend roundtable discussion with three people who know absolutely everything about nothing... or is that nothing about anything? Ah... who knows? You figure it out.

This week on Podcaturday, we celebrate my birthday with some good old Andy Rooney bashing before we switch over to complain about Ghost Hunters and tell a few ghost stories of our own. Podcaturday... it's better than Halloween.

As always, Podcaturday comes with some linkage...

Go visit my Podcaturday cohosts Superficial Gallery and James Melzer, or they'll send the Ghost Mafia to get you

Nicole Ireland... she writes about ghost hunting sometimes, so go read her blog

I went blog touring this week, and I stopped to visit E.G. Talbot, Morgan Elektra and Chandra Jenkins

The interview with former GH and GHI member, Donna Lacroix. This is a MUST LISTEN, especially if you've listened to this week's Podcaturday and you call yourself a Ghost Hunters fan.

Happy 30th Anniversary Pacman and Empire Strikes Back!

Unfortunately, there was no new episode of Annoying Orange, WTF? But... There is a contest going on that I couldn't stop myself from entering. Here are the details, and below that is one of my entry photos. :D I hope I win. I want an Annoying Orange T-Shirt.

<itunes:summary>Wow... I cannot believe this is the last episode. As I said in the introduction, I won't lie about how excited I am to finally be done. It's bittersweet. I loved reliving this story with all of you, but I am so glad to have it complete so I can move on to working on edits and formatting, the sequel and all the other projects I have going on.

Before you click on the podcast, I want to take a moment to thank you all. I could not have done this without you because even though there are so many people who have listened that I don't interact with directly, knowing you are out there listening has been a huge nudge to keep telling the story. Thank you for listening to my story. No matter what they say, we may write for ourselves on some level, but we also write so we can share those stories. I have really enjoyed sharing this story with you.

I hope you will return and tune in for the sequel once I begin podcasting it this summer. Jack in the Green is far from finished, but it will be. I am working on it regularly and hope to have it at least halfway

<itunes:summary>So, we had so much fun running our mouths last week on Podcaturday, we've decided to make a regular thing of it. We also invited James Melzer to join us, and what ensued was mayhem and a lot of nonsense.

We spent quite a good chunk talking about my loathing for all things movie remake and John Cusack (including Better Off Dead, which is a sin according to Acadia,) as well as some Star Wars related nonsense and what happens when you use Ouija boards.

As always, Podcaturday comes with links to the places you need to go this week... like the BFFs of Jennybeans.net:

SuperficialGallery.com Where Vange and I eat ice cream and refuse to share with Acadia
JamesMelzer.net Where James keeps his pants
Nicole Ireland's brand new website, which rocks, btw!
An awesome blog tour interview with Jim Ryan
Remember that Redhead chick I linked to last week? Well this week she's back to tell you what women want.
SHATURDAY Need I say more?
Drew Beatty is a consistent Podcaturday supporter. Go support him back.

So while you're wasting the next 50 minutes of your life listening to three people who know absolutely everything about nothing... or is that nothing about anything? I don't know, you figure it out, and while you do, go check out the cool people above, cos they rock. And then, when you're all done, come back and watch Annoying Orange, cos he's annoying and he's an orange...

<itunes:summary>I know, I know, I'm always like, "spend money, spend money." And you're probably rolling your eyes, but today I don't want you to spend your money on me. I want you to spend it on another independent author I respect and admire a great deal. Paul Elard Cooley.

Paul recently added his podcast novella, Tattoo, for sale as an electronic download at Amazon and Smashwords for just $.99. Even if you don't want to shell out a meager $.99 on Tattoo, you can listen to the full podcast version absolutely free on his website. If you do, be kind and hop on over to Amazon to leave a review so others know it's worth a buck. And trust me, it's worth it.

Tattoo is seriously freakin' disturbing on a level that will have you shivering in the corner and crying for your mommy by the time you finish it. Who doesn't want to know that kind of fear? You know you do.

Supporting independent artists and creators is a big deal to me, not just because I am an indie author myself, but because there are so many of us right now trying to make a difference in the world with our work. Many of us give a great deal of our work for free in order to reach a wider audience, so today I hope you'll give back to someone who's given the world a ton of great fiction. Go to Amazon or Smashwords, and download yourself a copy of Tattoo. It's good stuff! And please be kind, leave a review so others know it's worth passing up a Taco Bell $.99 burrito. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>So a few weeks ago, my friend Acadia over at Superficial Gallery started this thing called Podcaturday. He was like, "Yo, Beans, who are podcatters you know?"

And I was like, "So and so, and this guy, and you know, and someone else. Why?"

He got all snarky and told me to mind my own business, because he's an ass like that, but then he felt bad, cos even when he's an ass, he's not really that bad. So he told me he was gonna hook podcatters up with a weekly link-in on Superficial Gallery, and if they replied to the thread, he'd link 'em again the next week.

So I told him he couldn't just talk about podcatters. He had to podcat himself. So he put on a cat suit and danced around, then he recorded it in under a minute.

Then one day, we were like, "We should make a podcat about nothing and make people listen to it." And that was when this podcat you are about to listen to was born. But before you listen to the podcat about nothing, in which Acadia and I talk for like twenty minutes about Lost and The X-files and Battlestar Galactica, go check out these people, cos they're cool.

Some Random Freebies (where the hell does Acadia come up with this stuff?)

SuperficialGallery.com (where Acadia keeps poor, intensely awesome Vange chained up in his basement.)

Sparkle the Cat (cats have websites all their own now??? Who knew?)

Drew Beatty (He says he's the #1 podcatter in the land of Canadia...)

Nicole Ireland (I don't care what Acadia says about Nicole. I <3 her)

James Melzer (He can put his shoes under my bed anytime...oh wait, he already does...)

Paddy (Askimet has marked him the enemy, but he's a good guy!)

	Some Moms who like Apps

Granite State of Mind (Acadia's been trying to get me to watch this video like all day... Little does he know, I was watching Annoying Orange the whole time instead. Shhhhhhhh)

Candles for your Stomach (this is just all kinds of wrong on so many levels)

E.G. Talbot (this link is NOT all about me. I don't care what anyone says.)

<itunes:summary>I know, I know, it's Star Wars Day, but what's bigger than Star Wars? CINCO de JUNIUS, yo! My boy, Seth Harwood, has been working like a fiend to get word out there about Cinco de Junius, the official pre-order date for his brand new novel from Tyrus Books.

Seth podcasted Young Junius, and you can download the entire novel from iTunes and his website, but after podcasting, he went back and did some major editing, so there are differences between the podcast and the upcoming book. Now, here's the deal... Seth is printing a limited run edition that you can pre-order directly from his site tomorrow, May 5th. Not only is it going to be autographed for all the Palms Mamas and Palms Daddies. This limited edition is gonna be beautiful, complete with cloth binding, a special embossed dust jacket featuring artwork by Jerry Scullion and Bob Ostrom, glossy black and white photos inside of the many locations mentioned throughout the book. How freakin' sweet is that?

Don't sit on your hands and wait for October to order Young Junius! Tyrus and Harwood are only printing about 1,000 copies of the limited, signed edition, and you want one. Trust me. I've already read the rewritten edition, and reviewed it on the last episode of UNLEASHED, but just in case, I'm gonna drop the review at the end of this post so you can listen to me tell you just why you NEED to get your hands on a copy of this book.

After you listen, I want you to set up Cinco de Junius celebration schedule for tomorrow. Not only will that include you racing directly to Seth's website and pre-ordering your copy, but you can also get yourself $3 off the cover by typing in James and my promo code: Zombie. Once you've got your pre-order secured, set your alarm clock for 9 p.m. ET so you can join in the Blog Talk Radio chat with Seth and the entire Palms Family community. You can call in and ask questions, or just participate in the chatroom. Can you say, "AWESOME!"

Since there are still about fifteen to eighteen hours left of this day, you can also get in on the evangelizing! Grab a Young Junius avatar here, upload it to your Twitter and forum profiles, and help Seth spread the word about Cinco de Junius! He even has pre-written tweets you can send into your stream, linking your network back to the Young Junius page on his website.

Check out a promo for Young Junius and my review, and let's celebrate Cinco de Junius for the rest of the week!

<itunes:summary>As promised, here is episode twenty-two of Goblin Market. By my calculations, there will only be two more episodes before this baby goes to bed. Then I will be doing some serious editing and overhauling, sending it off to a panel of good friends for typo scanning, grammar hammering and suggestions. I will make more edits, get it all cleaned up, and move forward with the eBook conversion. I'm excited. This has been a fun journey, and it took me less than a year to reach the end, so that's even better.

<itunes:summary>My friend David Sobkowiak is no stranger to the podcast world. For a long time he's put out great stuff on Broken Sea Audio, but for the first time ever, he is putting out a novel-length podcast called Prisoners of the Alliance which he co-wrote with Laura Frechette. The duo take turns narrating the episodes, which is a pretty cool idea in itself, mixing up the perspective and point-of-view.

Prisoners of the Alliance kicked off today, April 12, 2010, and you can download the first episode, or listen right on the site. Don't forget to subscribe, so you don't miss a single episode. If you like fantasy and science fiction, you are going to enjoy this. Even if you don't like fantasy/sci-fi... why not give it a try anyway. It may just be the thing that changes your mind about it.

Check out the promo right here, and then head over to Scivener's Circle to have a listen!

<itunes:summary>Greetings everyone. Goblin Market episode twenty is here, and it's amazing to me how much you learn over the course of podcasting a novel. For instance, it took me twenty episodes to figure out how to better my sound quality so it's not hissing and crackling. Not that I hadn't tried in the past. Don't get me wrong. I experimented with a lot of things to try and get it right, but by George Gordon Lord Byron, this morning I think I did much better.

I am also starting the re-recording process for the first seven episodes so I can submit and upload to podiobooks. Both looking forward to and dreading the process, but anticipating the opportunity to reach more listeners and expand my audience. Wish me luck and kick my butt if I don't report details over the next couple weeks. I will also be cleaning up the manuscript and reformatting it to sell on Amazon and Smashwords for anyone who would like to download the whole novel to their computer or eReader.

In reflection, as I was looking over the last pages of the manuscript, I realized there are about four to five episodes left before the novel is done. Holy crow. I can't believe we made it this far. Well, I can, but you know... it's a major achievement and there were a lot of bumps and dips along the way. I'll celebrate once the final episode is in the can, but for now, I hope you'll join me in the Goblin Market once again.

As always, the music in this episode has been provided by Kevin Macleod and incompetech.com, and don't forget to stick around at the end of the episode for promos for Craig Robertson's Anon Time and Superficial Gallery's Things I Can Say in Under a Minute. </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Hey everybody, welcome back to the Goblin Market. Look at that, two episodes in two weeks. I'm on fire! Hoping to have the podcast itself wrapped up by the end of May, but I'm coming up on a weekend trip to Toronto near the end of April, so we'll see. There are just a handful of episodes left, so I'm looking forward to putting this baby to bed, and satisfying your growing curiosity about what happens in the end.

I do have a feeling some of you are going to be anxious for me to start podcasting Jack of the Green, the sequel to Goblin Market, but with the novel only partially written, I'm not sure when that will happen. I may have to start devoting a little more time to getting further into the novel, so I can actually start podcasting it this summer. More word on that once it's closer to the final episode of Goblin Market.

All music for the Goblin Market has been provided by Kevin Macleod of Incompetech.com, who rules the musical Internet, if you didn't already know. Don't forget to stay tuned at the end of the episode for awesome promos for Jake Bible's Dead Mech, Jim Ryan's Every World News and Edward G. Talbot's New World Orders.

Thanks for all your support, and for stopping by the Goblin Market. You guys continually rock my world, and I appreciate each and everyone of you more than you could imagine.</itunes:summary>

If I remember correctly, this was the last episode I recorded before James and I went on vacation in August, and it was a real catastrophe. <itunes:summary>Episode two of Goblin Market originally aired on my old website in July of 2009. Unfortunately, during the server hack on my old website, the original finished version of the recording was lost. Since that time, evil circumstances broke my computer and my teenager stole the flash drive that had the backup version of the episode on it. I was able to salvage it, but there is no intro on this episode, nor is there a promo. The episode is complete, the quality is just plain bad. Another reason to rerecord the early episodes!

<itunes:summary>This is the introductory episode of my original podcast novel, Goblin Market, which debuted on the net on my old website on July 9, 2009. Music provided by incompetech.com, end promo for Mur Lafferty's WAR.
